The German author Eckhart Nickel wrote a text about the feeling of being able to just exist in a place and nourished by the replenishing energy of a personal retreat finally being able to breathe a bit more freely. The place he describes in vivid detail is the pub or restaurant „Zum gemalten Haus“ in Frankfurt a.M.
